Grossmont College Names Bill McGreevy VP of Admin Services

Grossmont College has appointed Bill McGreevy as vice president of administrative services. This follows McGreevy’s interim position at the college, through which he oversaw the construction of its new Performing and Visual Arts Center, managed budget development and monitored work with outside vendors.

“Mr. McGreevy’s background in educational leadership and administration, as well as specific experience in campus budget and construction management, make him an invaluable addition to the college,” said Nabi Abu-Ghazaleh, Grossmont College president.

McGreevy was hired at Grossmont College in January 2017 as dean of Arts, Languages and Communication. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the dean of Instruction and interim campus director of Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado, and before that, was assistant dean of the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver. Prior to that, he was the assistant dean of Colorado Mountain College, a seven-campus community college system and held administrative positions at University of Missouri in Kansas and St. Louis before moving the Colorado.

McGreevy has a master’s in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
