San Diego-based grass-fed and grass-finished beef jerky producer, Homegrown Meats, will debut four of its flavors through Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the Homegrown Meats family, positioning us as a leading brand in the all-natural jerky category and opening the door for long-term growth and partnership,” Homegrown Meats co-founder Thad Benshoof said via a press release.

The company offers nine flavors, including carne asada, sriracha style, gringo bandito and smoking hot jalapeño. All options are gluten-free, made without nitrates and with no artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners.

Homegrown Meats uses high-quality beef by way of a partnership with Homegrown Cattle Company, which humanely raises and cares for animals, according to a press release. Homegrown Meats is also sold at golf courses, resorts, universities and breweries, among other non-traditional retail outlets.
