Kratos Receives $9.4 Million Contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. said it received a $9.4 million contract to provide helicopter maintenance training systems to an undisclosed customer, identified only as a major U.S. ally.

The San Diego-based business announced the award on June 23.

Under the deal, Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) will deliver helicopter avionics training systems, including two Kratos-developed Maintenance Blended Reconfigurable Aviation Trainers. Kratos builds the systems and plans to provide on-site support.

The business noted that it recently received training contracts from the U.K. and Saudi Arabia.
