Bridgepoint Helps the Symphony Play a Greater Community Role

Bridgepoint Education is the title sponsor of the San Diego Symphony Summer Pops series which opens June 30. Andrew Clark, CEO of Bridgepoint, and his wife, Catherine, are honorary chairs of the Tux ’n’ Tennies Summer Bash June 25 at the Embarcadero Marina Park South. San Diego Rotary District 5340 has partnered with the symphony to kick off its Centennial Year Celebration. Proceeds from the evening will go toward the symphony’s music education programs which benefited over 42,000 students last year. Bridgepoint Education has focused on supporting music education and has made $100,000 challenge grants to the symphony for the past several years. Bridgepoint is offering a similar challenge grant this year … AMN Healthcare has been a corporate sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure in San Diego since 1997. In addition to financial support, hundreds of AMN team members have been participating in the race, helping raise awareness and money for the cause. They also hosted the recent Komen awards ceremony at their headquarters … WD-40 sponsored a 10 cent per can donation campaign from the WD-40 Military Collectible Series, a series of four specially designed cans that honor those who serve or have served in uniform. The $55,000 raised will go toward programs and research to improve the lives of children and teens battling cancer. University Compounding Pharmacy was the title sponsor of the tournament … Harney Sushi donated $1,000 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness North Coastal San Diego County Division.
