Babylon Capital bought the property at 1411 Tyler St. and 4167 Maryland St. from the Nathan R Ginager Trust.
The property includes a 12-unit apartment complex and the duplex.
Built in 1952, the apartment complex has eight one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments of 600 square feet and four two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments of 863 square feet.
The apartments have vintage-style kitchens and bathrooms with original hardwood flooring and tile. Each apartment has ceiling fans and a 40-gallon water heater. Some also have private yards. The complex also has a laundry room.
Built in 1929, the 3,787 square-foot duplex at 4167 Maryland St. has a 1,787 square-foot, two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with a den and a 2,000 square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a den and in-unit laundry.
Connor Brennan, an investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap in San Diego, represented the seller.
The buyer was represented by Carson Trujillo, also an investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap in San Diego.
