Carlsbad-based Callaway Golf Co., makers of golf equipment, has named Joe B. Flannery as its executive vice president of apparel and soft goods.
Most recently, Mr. Flannery served as senior vice president and general manager of Newell Brands’ technical apparel division, which consists of Marmot, ExOfficio and Coleman apparel, according to a press release. Prior to that, Flannery worked at Canadian Mountain Holidays and The Meriwether Group, “serving as VP of global marketing at The North Face” and as “global VP and GM of the Originals Division at Adidas Group AG.”
“(Mr. Flannery) has impressive experience as a business leader, strategist and innovator with a clear track record for driving growth,” said Chip Brewer, president and CEO of Callaway Golf Co. “He brings an entrepreneurial mindset to businesses at any stage, and we’re excited to work with him to continue to grow both the TravisMathrew and Jack Wolfskin brands as well as our overall soft goods and apparel business segment.”
Callaway Golf Co. is the parent company to businesses like Callaway Golf, Odyssey, OGIO, TravisMathew and Jack Wolfskin.
