TaylorMade Golf, a leading golf equipment company headquartered in Carlsbad, announced the release of its all-new SIM Max and SIM Max OS Irons.
The company along with local competitor Callaway Golf, enters the year with a new line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons.
According to a press release, TaylorMade engineers built upon its innovative technology to provide thinner and faster irons compared to the company’s previous models.
In particular, the Speed Bridge technology reduces unwanted vibrations at impact and allows the golfer to get feedback on the strike. TaylorMade said its technology is designed for the golfer seeking all-around performance in a distance iron.
The products range in price from $899 to $999 and will be available in retailers nationwide starting Feb. 7.
In 2019, TayorMade Golf’s apparel brand, Ashworth was acquired by YGM Group, a Hong Kong based company that develops apparel retail and wholesale business at an undisclosed amount.
