Eric Hornsten has been appointed head of PwC’s San Diego office, the company announced.
According to the firm, “Hornsten will lead all of PwC’s work and social initiatives in the market in his new role, including the firm's $3 billion investment into digitally upskilling its workforce, in San Diego and across the globe.”
With over 26 years of professional experience, Hornsten is a partner in PwC’s deals practice, working predominantly with companies which have complex accounting and SEC reporting around deals and other significant events, PwC said.
His previous roles at PwC include faculty relationship partner for the University of Texas at Austin, assurance leader for Austin, Texas, and Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as the managing partner in Austin, the company said.
Outside of his work with PwC, Eric serves on the board of CONNECT, a local nonprofit that supports the tech and science sectors.
