Jenny Craig, the Carlsbad-based weight loss company, has made some changes to its C-Suite as part of its expansion strategy.
According to a press release, David Pastrana is the company’s new CEO and Monty Sharma, the previous president and CEO, is now board chairman. The leadership transition will be effective Feb. 1.
“I have been impressed with the team’s passion and unwavering commitment to taking care of our clients on every level,” said Pastrana. “This is a brand that has stood the test of time by continually evolving its approach and offerings to meet changing consumer needs, and I look forward to building on its legacy.”
Most recently, Pastrana was president of White House Black Market, and before that, held roles with Zara parent Inditex, Topshop and Sears.
