The global entry enrollment center at the San Diego International Airport (SAN) will be closing.
According to a press release, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection department notified the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority that the global entry enrollment center at San Diego International Airport will close on Sept. 30. As a result, travelers who have been pre-approved for the global entry program may request to be enrolled upon arrival into SAN from international travel.
According to CBP, the Trusted Traveler Program and the global entry enrollment centers in San Diego County will be consolidated into one, located at the existing enrollment center at the Otay Mesa port of entry. Conditionally approved travelers also have the option of scheduling their enrollment at the Otay Mesa enrollment center, the press release states.
