Hallmark Communities, doing business as Hall Land Company, Inc., has acquired nearly 2.8 acres of land in unincorporated San Diego County near El Cajon for about $2.4 million.

The company plans to develop the property as a residential complex with 39 for-sale townhomes.

The site consists of five contiguous parcels at 1104-1112, 1118 and 1132 North Anza St.

Three older buildings on the site will be raised.

The seller was Jackie Musick, successor trustee of the Bronson Family Trust.

Robert Vallera, senior vice president and partner with Voit Real Estate Services represented the buyer.

Mark Silverman, executive vice president of NAI San Diego and Sarah Anane, an associate with NAI, represented the sellers.
