Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. said Sept. 4 that it received a U.S. Navy contract that could be worth as much as $67.5 million over five years.

The deal supports the radar systems division of the Virginia-based Naval Surface Warfare Center Dalhgren Division. It consists of a base year and four option years.

“We are very pleased to continue our longstanding support of the NSWCDD engineering community. This contract award allows Kratos to apply our solid engineering and technical skills to support the Navy’s most advanced radar programs,” said Tim Harmon, vice president of the Advanced Naval Weapon Systems business unit, in a statement distributed by Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS).

The business unit is part of Kratos’ Defense & Rocket Support Services Division.
