Kratos Defense and Security Solutions Inc. received more than $30 million in scope increases on multiple existing military training contracts. The San Diego company made the announcement on Oct. 11. It gave no specifics, citing competitive and customer-related reasons.
Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) offers training products and services — including simulators — for air, ground and naval platforms. So-called blended training systems use virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality technology. Training is for maintenance as well as operations.
In other news, Kratos moved its headquarters from University City to Scripps Ranch, effective Oct. 1.
