IAM Hospitality has selected Joseph Elevado as chief culinary officer of Prepkitchen’s four locations. Elevado will oversee the culinary team at all Prepkitchen restaurants, curate menu items, and provide direction and vision.

"We will be creating dishes that complement the restaurants' approachable style, while integrating fun, innovative techniques and flavors," Elevado said in a statement.

Before joining the San Diego based-Prepkitchens, Elevado worked at Nobu restaurants as executive chef, first in New York City and then Las Vegas. He was also executive chef at Social House in Las Vegas, L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, and Andrea's Restaurant at Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas. Elevado has been awarded multiple Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond, and Mobil Four and Five Star accolades.

Las Vegas based-IAM Hospitality purchased the three existing Prepkitchens in January 2018 from Whisknladle Hospitality. The company is scheduled to open a fourth Prepkitchen in San Marcos April 2018.
