A board certified surgeon in general surgery and reconstructive surgery, Anne Wallace specializes in breast health. She has experience in all forms of cosmetic breast and body contouring surgery. Her research focuses on developing better imaging technology to detect breast cancer and melanoma. She also is a professor of Clinical Surgery. The director of the Comprehensive Breast Health Center since 1995, Wallace also uses advanced imaging methods to study stem cell reconstructive surgery. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has named Wallace Breast Cancer Clinician of the Year, and San Diego Magazine recognized her as a “Top Doc.” Wallace has also served as chairwoman of the California Breast Cancer Research Council.
