Michelle Sterling has direct responsibility for all human resources functions affecting more than 32,000 Qualcomm employees worldwide and also serves as a member of Qualcomm’s executive committee. During her 21 years with Qualcomm, she has provided HR leadership to nearly all areas of the company and worked on complex transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. She joined Qualcomm in 1994 as an HR business partner. Prior to joining Qualcomm, she served in various HR roles at ABB Traction and Manpower, both in the New York area. She is on the board of Girl Scouts of America and previously she served on the boards of Serving Seniors; Occupational Training Services (OTS) and the San Diego Workforce Partnership.
