Kevin M. Graney

President, General Dynamics NASSCO

Kevin Graney moved into the president’s job at Barrio Logan’s General Dynamics NASSCO shipyard in January 2017 with the retirement of longtime President Fred Harris. NASSCO builds U.S. Navy auxiliary ships – it plans to begin work on a new group of oilers soon – as well as commercial ships. The business recently delivered 10 ships in 20 months, the highest output from a shipyard since World War II. In addition, NASSCO competes with other San Diego businesses to do heavy repairs on Navy vessels. Graney, a resident of Jamul, sits on the boards of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp. and the Shipbuilder’s Council of America. He is chairman of the General Dynamics Manufacturing Council.
