Two La Jolla office and retail buildings have been sold for $9.2 million.

The buildings are next to each other at 6902 and 6980 La Jolla Blvd., and have a combined space of 25,000 square feet.

Built in 1964, the four-story building at 6902 La Jolla Blvd., has 18,330 square feet of space. The two-story building at 6980 La Jolla Blvd., was built in 1970 and has 6,758 square feet of space.

The seller was LSREF4 Dual, LLC. The buyer was Hillcrest Veritas, LP.

Derek Hulse of Cushman & Wakefield and Victor Krebs, a senior vice president at Colliers International, represented the seller. The buyer represented itself.

“The new ownership plans to extensively renovate both properties,” Krebs said. “The top three floors of office space at 6902 La Jolla Blvd., will be converted into 15 upscale apartments with ocean views. The ground floor will be updated with new retail and restaurant uses.”
