Scott Biel leads Mintz Levin’s Corporate Real Estate Practice and previously served as the Co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Section. His practice focuses corporate real estate requirements, with a particular concentration in technology and life science companies. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Acedmy, he spent his post-undergraduate naval service as a nuclear-trained submarine officer, providing him with a knowledge base in engineering and infrastructure. He has worked with clients on legal provisions for R&D facilities, clean rooms and co-location data facilities. He also has worked with securities lawyers in representing companies from early funding through initial public offerings and in M&A activity. He joined Mintz Levin in 2007; previously he worked at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton.
