Another scooter company has entered the San Diego market: Razor Share is the latest to provide scooter ride-sharing in the county.

“We are thrilled to be joining this vibrant community,” Danny Simon, chief operating officer for Razor USA, said in a statement. The company is based in Cerritos.

Razor Share scooters have been designed with cushy front air tires and a wide deck big enough for two feet to stand on side-by-side, along with a UL-compliant lithium ion battery and a sturdy steel frame, according to a news release. Razor’s local team members will charge and inspect the scooters every night to provide safe performance, the company said.
