Cubic Corp. said on Sept. 6 that it received a $25 million contract to deliver three mobile combat training centers to an unnamed client in the Asia-Pacific region.
Cubic (NYSE: CUB) said it will provide its latest generation of laser-based simulation equipment for dismounted soldiers, vehicles and weapons. The systems include communications and after-action review capabilities; once soldiers and commanders are done with their wargames, the system lets participants review their performance.
Cubic said it plans to deliver the systems in 2018 and 2019. Engineering and production will take place in San Diego.
