A $10 million apartment complex in La Mesa’s Lake Murray neighborhood is being developed by SENTRE, a San-Diego-based commercial real estate investment firm.
Villea at Lake Murray at 5565 Lake Murray Blvd. is slated to open for rentals in late 2018.
With 27 townhomes averaging more than 1,000 square feet each, the complex will feature attached garages, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, central heat and air conditioning, and in-unit washers and dryers.
Amenities will include a clubhouse and lifestyle center, fitness center, spa, BBQ station, secured parking and community-wide wireless internet.
Monthly rents are expected to start near $2,500 for a two-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse with an attaché two-car garage.
“We hope to infuse an urban edge into this traditional suburban setting,” said SENTRE CEO Doug Arthur. “We will offer spacious townhome residents with direct access garages in a lower density yet highly amenitized site plan that is incredibly walkable to Lake Murray as well as high quality shopping and dining.”
SENTRE has retained San Diego architect Carrier Johnson to design Villea at Lake Murray and Cannon Constructors to build it.
In addition to Villea at Lake Murray, SENTRE owns and operates The Marketplace at Lake Murray, Stonebridge by the Lake and Enclave at Lake Murray.
With its headquarters in downtown San Diego, SENTRE has acquired, developed and/or operated $4 billion of projects in California and Mexico, totaling more than 10 million square.
