The U.S. Air Force awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a $10.2 million contract to set up a way to repair and maintain fuel-system components used in Reaper unmanned aircraft. GA-ASI will perform the work at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex. The project is expected to last two years.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio awarded the deal, announced Oct. 4.
Poway-based GA-ASI is an affiliate of privately held General Atomics.
