General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. received an $11.8 million, 18-month logistics deal with the government of Italy for Italy’s fleet of Predator B unmanned aircraft.
Most of the work under the contract will be done in Poway. The deal, announced Jan. 25, covers depot repair, life cycle sustainment and software maintenance services.
The U.S. Air Force handled the arrangement as a foreign military sale, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
