Kensington Apartment Property Sold for $2.2 Million

Newkirk Family Trust of San Diego has acquired an eight-unit apartment property in the city’s Kensington neighborhood for $2.2 million, according to brokerage firms Apartment Consultants Inc. (ACI) and Colliers International Group Inc.

The seller of the two-story property, called the Marlborough Apartments at 4352 Marlborough Ave., was Vaerus Marlborough LLC of San Diego. The buyer was represented by Colliers’ Peter Scepanovic and Corey McHenry, and the seller was represented by ACI’s Mark Morgan.

Brokers said the property was built in 1970 and underwent interior and exterior renovations totaling more than $250,000 in mid-2016.
