Beverage giant Coca-Cola is cutting 102 jobs in San Diego.
Coca-Cola filed a notice with the state about the impending layoffs. The filing said the jobs cuts would start as soon as May 17.
The company is consolidating its warehouse operations, moving them from its facility in San Diego’s Webster neighborhood to its Oceanside facility, which it recently expanded and upgraded, the company said in a statement.
Coca-Cola will continue to employ about 285 people in San Diego in sales, customer service, merchandising and distribution functions, spokeswoman Nancy Limon said.
