Investor Testa Family LP II, based in Huntington Beach, has acquired a Carlsbad office building fully occupied by ViaSat Inc. for $13 million, according to brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap.
The sellers of the 41,516-square-foot building, at 2530 Campbell Place, were Corsair Management LP and Legacy Property Management LLC of Anaheim, represented by Marcus & Millichap’s Ben Tashakorian and Scott Hilmen.
The buyer represented itself in the acquisition. Financing was arranged by Marcus & Millichap’s Chad O’Connor.
Brokers said the property is part of the expanding campus of satellite communications technology provider ViaSat, in Carlsbad’s Bressi Ranch Corporate Center. The property includes 20 percent lab space, with worker amenities including basketball and volleyball courts.
