San Francisco-based firm Bank of the West has opened a new banking branch in La Jolla.
The branch, Suite 150 at 4180 La Jolla Village Drive, was launched to meet growing demand in the area, the company said June 3.
"San Diego and La Jolla are some of the fastest-growing areas in the United States, and we're looking forward to expanding our presence to help the wide variety of small and midsized businesses in the area thrive," said Michelle Di Gangi, executive vice president of small and medium-size enterprise banking at Bank of the West, in a statement. "Our new branch is home to business banking experts with deep knowledge and experience within the local La Jolla market.”
While business’s banking needs will be the primary focus at the branch, the branch will also offer personal and wealth management services for business owners and wealthy individuals and families, according to the firm.
"We've heard from our business customers that they appreciate having access to a full spectrum of products and services that address their multidimensional financial needs," Di Gangi said.
Bank of the West, which was founded in 1874 and has more than 600 offices in 23 states, is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas.
