University Heights Retail Center Sold for $5.29 Million

A San Diego buyer recorded as Hillside Shopping Center LLC has purchased the Hillside Village Plaza retail center in University Heights for $5.29 million, according to brokerage firm Colliers International Group Inc.

The sellers of the 18,864-square-foot property, at 1900-1995 El Cajon Boulevard, were McEwen-Otay LLC and MP McEwen I LLC, both of San Diego. The sellers were represented by Colliers’ Mark McEwen.

Reef Real Estate will continue to serve as property manager. Hillside Village Plaza was constructed in 1985 and is subject to a long-term ground lease.

Current tenants include 7-Eleven, Sally Beauty Supply, Subway, H&R Block, WingStop, Domino’s Pizza and Check Into Cash.
