Soltek Pacific Construction Co. received a U.S. Navy task order worth $16.7 million, the Pentagon announced Dec. 30.
Under the new, fixed-price task order to a previously awarded contract, Soltek will design and build an ammunition segregation facility, a small arms ammunition magazine and high explosives magazine at the ammunition supply point compound in the Las Pulgas region of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, also known as 43 Area. The project will include utility and road work. Construction will be complete by April 2018.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest of San Diego awarded the task order to Old Town-based Soltek after receiving four proposals for the work.
Soltek is a small business under Department of Defense criteria.
