Tandem Diabetes Care Inc., a medical device maker and manufacturer of insulin pumps in San Diego, reported a jump in sales for the fourth quarter and 2015.

The company reported a $12.1 million net loss on sales of $29.1 million for the fourth quarter, compared to a net loss of $18.5 million on sales of $17.9 million in the same period the prior year.

Tandem reported a $72.4 million net loss on sales of $72.9 million for 2015, compared with a net loss of $79.5 million on sales of $49.7 million in 2014.

Tandem’s (Nasdaq: TNDM) stock price has jumped over 9 percent since the earnings were released, and shares are currently trading for $7.69.
