The U.S. Air Force awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a one-year, $349.1 million contract covering support and services for the Air Force’s fleet of Predator and Reaper unmanned aircraft.

The Pentagon announced the deal Dec. 22.

Work will be performed in Poway.

The deal, which runs through the end of December 2017, calls for GA-ASI to perform program management, logistics support, configuration management, technical manual and software maintenance, contractor field service representative support, inventory control point management, flight operations support, depot repair and depot field maintenance.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., awarded the deal.
