The board of LRAD Corp. named former DRS Technologies Inc. executive Richard S. Danforth, 56, as the company’s new CEO.
Danforth succeeds Tom Brown as CEO. Brown agreed to resign on June 30 after activist investors raised criticisms about the company in the spring and threatened a proxy fight. Brown served as CEO for about 10 years.
