Colsa Corp. of Huntsville, Ala. received a SPAWAR contract that could be worth up to $44.8 million over five years if the U.S. Navy exercises all of its options.
Some 90 percent of the work will be performed in San Diego, where Colsa has its West Coast office. The balance will be performed in Alabama.
Under the deal, Colsa will provide data link test tools equipment, gateway systems and mini-rack development and technical support to SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is worth as much as $26.5 million over three years and has a two-year option period.
SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific awarded the contract, which was advertised on the Federal Business Opportunities website and SPAWAR E-commerce Central website. Colsa was the only bidder. The Navy announced the winner Nov. 23.
