CDC Small Business Finance Hires Allison Kelly

CDC Small Business Finance, one of the country’s largest Small Business Administration lenders, said Monday it has hired Allison Kelly as senior vice president of strategy and innovation.

The position was created to help CDC Small Business Finance introduce new, non-SBA products geared towards small businesses. The company’s top loan product is the SBA’s so-called 504 loan, which is used for heavy equipment or real estate financing.

Kelly is a former executive at the San Francisco-based nonprofit Pacific Community Ventures, which offered advice and capital to small businesses to revitalize low-income neighborhoods.

CDC Small Business Finance recently announced it had lent out more than $800 million over the past fiscal year ending in September.
