Audio company Sound United, a division of DEI Holdings, has moved several operations from its Baltimore location to its facility in Vista.

Sound United, founded in 2012, oversees a diverse portfolio of audio brands including Polk Audio, Definitive Technology and BOOM by Polk.

Of the decision to move operations across the coast, President Kevin Duffy says it “will streamline our operations as a whole and position the company for long-term continued success.”

The 30 jobs being relocated to the West Coast are in accounting, customer support, finance, IT and supply chain departments.

DEI Holdings also owns Directed, the largest North American maker of consumer-branded vehicle security and remote start systems sold under Viper, Clifford, Python, AutoStart and other brand names.
