Affiliates of Anaheim-based Milan Capital Management have purchased a five-building retail center in Chula Vista for $18.5 million, according to CoStar Group and public data.

The seller of the 84,856-square-foot property, at 1058-1072 Third Ave., was Big Rock LLC, an affiliate of Cardone Investments Inc. of Miami Beach, Fla. The buying entities were recorded as I&E Properties LP and Milan Properties LLC.

The neighborhood shopping center is anchored by grocer Northgate Gonzalez Market.
