The U.S. Army awarded Palomar Display Products an indefinite-quantity contract that could be worth up to $28.6 million over five years.
The Carlsbad-based company will produce binocular image control units and associated spares under the deal, which lasts through early 2020. The business will also provide repairs and engineering services under the deal, announced Feb. 13. Funding and work location will be determined when the Army issues a task order.
The Army Contracting Command of Alexandria, Va. awarded the deal.
Palomar Display Products is a veteran-owned small business whose displays are used in Army tanks as well as the U.S. Navy’s submarine-hunting aircraft.
