Pure Financial Advisors Inc., a Mission Valley based wealth management firm, said it surpassed the $1 billion mark in assets under management this year while increasing its client base to 1,200.
The firm founded by CEO Michael Fenison seven years ago provides fee-only financial planning services through salaried advisers in order to minimize sales conflicts, the company said.
“With no direct link between revenue and salary, the advisers are truly able to perform what’s in their client’s best interest,” the company said.
The firm cited a few reasons for the 49 percent gain in total assets last year, including a sponsored weekend radio show featuring its chief financial officer and director of tax planning, and evening classes at local schools.
