Kaiser Permanente will open a new medical office building in Oceanside on March 17.

The 21,531-square-foot building houses 12 offices, which include pediatric and primary care physicians, a pharmacy, a lab and a radiology department. It’s been built with sustainability in mind, including low-flow plumbing fixtures, LED lighting, and natural light and ventilation.

The health system, which has a network of 157,000 San Diego members, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the building’s opening. Mary Ann Barnes, executive director of Kaiser Permanente, San Diego; Oceanside Mayor Jim Wood; and Bill Horn, San Diego County supervisor for District 5 will be present.
