The U.S. Navy said on June 16 that it awarded BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair a $20.5 million contract for dry-dock work to the USS Decatur, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer.

Work will improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities, and is expected to be complete by February. The San Diego-based Southwest Regional Maintenance Center awarded the contract.
