Cubic Receives Army Task Order Worth $8.2M

Cubic Corp. received an $8.23 million task order from the U.S. Army, agreeing to provide five years’ worth of training services to Special Forces at Fort Bragg, N.C. The Pentagon announced the deal Jan. 22.

NEK Services, a division of Cubic Mission Support Services, will work with the Joint Exploitation Training Center, C Company, 6th Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group, Airborne at Fort Bragg.

NEK will supply instructors and role players to teach what center officials call “advanced skills.”

Retired Special Forces combat veterans founded NEK in 2002. Cubic paid $52 million for the business in 2012.

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg awarded the deal. The command received two offers for services.
