San Diego Marriott in Gaslamp Adds Scenic Indoor Site for Business Meetings, Events

City Sights, an indoor extension of the open-air ALTITUDE Sky Lounge, is now open on the 22nd floor of the San Diego Marriott in Gaslamp Quarter.

While ALTITUDE boasts large rooftop space for events, City Sights, at 660 K St., offers a similar experience of panoramic city views, while shielded from the weather. With its close proximity to the San Diego Convention Center, Horton Plaza, and Petco Park, the venue aims to provide guests with space suitable for business meetings and other private events, including wedding receptions and private dinners.

The lounge has glass-walled balcony with access through sliding doors, blackout shades, and modular furniture that can be adjusted to meet the needs of each event.

“City Sights will bring special events to the next level,” said Jim Durbin, general manager of the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter. “There aren’t many places in San Diego that can offer the views we have right here.”

According to the Marriott, City Sights will add to the more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space within the hotel.
