Training Deal to Be Worth More Than $35M to Kratos

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions Inc. received a five-year deal worth more than $35 million to provide training equipment for crews working aboard the MH-60R and MH-60S Seahawk helicopters, the company said.

BSC Partners LLC of Binghamton, N.Y. is the prime contractor.

Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) said it will deliver four MH-60R Naval Aircrew Training Systems and four MH-60S Aircrew Virtual Environment Trainer devices. The aids will provide a blend of virtual and physical environments to prepare air crew members for work on the MH-60, concentrating on crew coordination, gunnery, sonar, hoist, search and rescue as well as vertical replenishment.

The Naval Air Systems Command (Navair) awarded the contract.
