EcoATM, the maker of automated kiosks for trading in unwanted cellphones which was acquired by Outerwall for $350 million last year, named Maria Stipp as new president.
Stipp previously was EcoATM’s interim president and chief new ventures officer; she joined the company in 2011 as chief customer officer. She replaces Tom Tullie, who resigned in October.
Among her previous stints in a 20 year sales and management career were Activision, Vivendi Universal Games, Miller Brewing Co., and Kellogg.
EcoATM, now a subsidiary of Bellevue, Wash.-based Outerwall, has about 200 employees at its Sorrento Mesa headquarters.
