Zogenix Gets Pentagon Contract Worth Up to $20.7M

San Diego-based Zogenix Inc. recently received a Pentagon contract that could be worth as much as $20.7 million.

Zogenix (Nasdaq: ZGNX) will provide various medical and surgical products under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity deal.

The U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies will use the products.

Zogenix’s government contract consists of a single base year and seven option years. The Defense Logistics Agency recently exercised its first option year.
