Strategic Operations, the San Diego provider of “hyper-realistic” training for military and law enforcement personnel, said the Naval Health Research Center awarded it a three-year purchase agreement to support the Simulated Ambulant Lab Technology program.

Strategic Operations, which provides the training on the lot of Stu Seagall Productions in Kearny Mesa, said the value of the contract is up to $3 million.

The agreement calls for simulation services that will allow immersive testing of equipment and medical logistics procedures and review of combat casualty care, the company said.

Since 2002, Strategic Operations has provided immersion training support to more than 700,000 military personnel prior to their deployment in combat, the business said.

The goal of the Simulated Ambulant Lab Technology program is to bring the Naval Health Research Center into the 21st century of current technology without incurring a huge investment in facilities and IT infrastructure, the company said.
