Carlsbad-based West Living, which owns and operates hospitality-based senior living communities, plans to develop a new assisted living and memory care community in Corona.
The master-planned community in western Riverside County, to be called Estancia Del Sol, will include 91 assisted living and 21 memory care apartments, the company said in a statement. Groundbreaking is planned by the end of November, with construction expected to be completed in early 2015.
The community has been designed in the style of a Spanish estate or resort, and will include full-service fine dining, a theater, spa and fitness center. There will be on-site transportation and concierge services offered.
Formed in 2009, West Living operates eight senior communities in California, Arizona and Washington, including the 309-unit Dos Colinas continuing care community in Carlsbad.
