San Diego-based RedIT announced it has opened a “data park” in Mexico City.
The 95,000-square-foot facility will house eight data centers, the company said, and serve private companies and government institutions.
The facility is in the Tultitlán area of Mexico’s capital, and has a highly reliable energy supply and an energy efficient cooling system.
RedIT specializes in secure, customizable cloud computing and data center services. It also has facilities in San Diego.
The redIT data centers are certified ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISAE3402 — which is the international equivalent of SSAE16 — and ICREA Tier IV.
