San Diego-based real estate services firm Trigild, in partnership with Blu Hotel Investors and Pacifica Real Estate Group, both of Santa Barbara, have acquired the 121-room Santa Ana Hampton Inn & Suites in Santa Ana.
The transaction price was not disclosed. A company statement said Trigild will take charge of daily management, overseeing 40 employees and spearheading $1 million in planned renovations. The hotel was built in 1992 on 1.5 acres at 2720 Hotel Terrace Drive.
John Beazley, Trigild’s managing director of hospitality, said the acquisition is the first joint project in an alliance announced recently between Trigild and Blu Hotel Investors. The companies are partnering to develop, acquire and operate hotel properties.
Blu Founder and Principal Michael Barnard said the Orange County property meets the partnership’s criteria for “investing in high-barrier-to-entry markets with premium brands.”
